Prescriptions and renewals
All prescriptions and authorizations for renewals should be requested during normal office hours. Allow 24-48 hours for your request to be called in to your pharmacy. Please follow the doctor's recommendations if he feels that is in the best interest of your health to be seen and examined prior to prescribing the appropriate medications.
Lab and test results
We encourage all patients to call back or use the Patient Portal for laboratory results, even for routine tests. Please keep us informed of any changes in your phone number or home address so that we can contact you promptly with information regarding test results.
After hours emergency calls
If you find it necessary to contact the doctor after normal office hours, you may call our office number and you will be given information for the emergency contact number. If you have a life-threatening emergency, please call 911 and/or go to the emergency department of the nearest hospital.
Telephone calls
Patients are encouraged to call with any questions they have concerning medical problems. The office staff will relay your information to your doctor and your call will be returned at the earliest opportunity. The office staff has also been trained to answer many of your questions. You may leave a call back phone number, so that the doctor may personally speak with you, if necessary.
